SBIR Partnership Director
The SBIR Partnership Director position will be responsible for leading the overall strategy and execution of FESI’s SBIR commercialization initiative, ensuring the program accelerates awardees’ path from research to market. The ideal candidate is motivated by the prospect of building a new program and creating connective tissue between the Department of Energy, other federal agencies, investors, buyers, and ecosystem partners. The Director leads the end-to-end commercialization pipeline, ensuring startups receive the training, connections, and support needed to transition from research to market. They are highly organized, outgoing, and professional, commercially astute, and energized by the challenge of building and scaling a mission-driven partnership model.
Corporate & Investment Partnerships Manager
The Corporate & Investment Partnerships Manager position will be responsible for maintaining the ecosystem that powers the pipeline. This role requires an organized and detail-oriented person that will support the operational excellence of FESI’s corporate and investor partnership programs. This role ensures our relationships run smoothly; our data is clean and actionable, and our partners consistently experience a high level of return on involvement.
Director of Events
This role owns the planning, logistics, and execution of events that bring together investors, startups, corporate partners, and policymakers to drive commercialization outcomes. The Director serves as an on-the-ground representative of FESI at events and ensures a high-quality, high-impact experience for all participants. This role oversees the full event lifecycle from concept and logistics to messaging, promotion, and post event follow-up. The Director will ensure that all Foundation events are seamless, well attended, and aligned with the Foundation’s goals.
